I am a culturally sensitive, licensed clinical social worker specializing in evidence-based psychotherapy for adults and adolescents facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, and eating disorders. After completing my graduate training in social work, I pursued a post-graduate program in marriage and family therapy at the Council for Relationships.
My professional journey has included roles as an individual, family, and group therapist at a treatment center for teens and women with eating, mood, anxiety, and personality disorders. I also have extensive experience in outpatient clinics and community health centers. Beyond clinical work, I serve as a speaker and author on mental health topics, advocating for awareness and support, particularly for victims of intimate partner violence. I have also shared my expertise as an adjunct professor at Temple University and in the divorce/co-parenting realm as a custody evaluator, mediator, and collaborative divorce professional.
Committed to continuous learning, I actively pursue education in treating eating disorders, emotional dysregulation, anxiety disorders, and family conflict. I am proud to be affiliated with esteemed organizations, including the National Association of Social Workers, EMDRIA (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing International Association), the Pennsylvania Society of Clinical Social Work, the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals, and the Amicable Divorce Network.
